How do you spend your money? Jesus said in Mark 12:17 "Give to Caesar what belongs to him. But everything that belongs to God must be given to God." I saw people go literally from rags to riches. There was a man that I knew who became bankrupt and started praying to GOD to bless him. He began serving the LORD and became part of all the activities at church. Because of his faithfulness, the Lord started to pour out his blessing to this man. Later, due to the demand of business he started resigning from his church responsibilities, activities and ministries. Just like this old story about the little boy on his way to the church with two nickels, one for the Lord and one for himself. Well, on the way to church he lost one of them in the gutter. “There goes the Lord’s nickel,” he said. Isn’t this usually the case? The Lord’s share in our life is always at stake when we become busy with the things that GOD himself gave to us. Be blessed and give to God what must be given to God.
