May 15th - Morning | CHILDLIKE
Psalm 116:6 – “The Lord protects those of childlike faith.”
Children are very trustful. They don’t worry much about the ramifications of life. When in need the first thing they do is run to their parents. This is what our Father in heaven wants from us – to totally rely on Him. Matthew 18:4 says, “Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.” We’ve got a lot to learn from children. Author Robert Fulghum once said that "Most of what I really need to know about how to live and what to do, and how to be, I learned in kindergarten. Like: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands, and stick together." Simple rules for living, right? Be like a child. Do the right thing.
