Philippians 3:8 – Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ.

What’s important to you? What keeps you going everyday? Is it money, power, popularity? You have to settle the issue of "what’s really important" and it’s not something you decide haphazardly. You’ve got to give it some serious thought. Moses, who led a nation out of bondage, who already had everything as a prince, chose a value system clearly stated in Hebrews 11:26 – “He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of the Messiah than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to the great reward that God would give him.” He established his value system to be something that was priceless and would last forever.
