Develop your business first before building your house.

The macro problem can be traced back to the micro problem of families. The culprit is when we set up the wrong priorities. Kids blame their parents and the parents blame the grandparents and so on and so on. It’s just a vicious cycle of life. King Solomon said there’s nothing new under the sun and another preacher said, “It’s just old stuff happening to new people.” A preacher who was solemnizing a wedding asked the bride, “Do you take this man for better or worse?” The bride responded, “He can’t get no worse, and they is no hopes of his gettin’ any better, so I takes him ‘as is.’” It’s a real problem when you enter into marriage unprepared. King Solomon said your business is yourself; fix you first before you start building a house. How do you fix you? Seek God and His righteousness first.
