Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

A painter envisioned a perfect peace when he painted a raging waterfall with winds whipping.  There was a limb overhanging the swirling water where a bird had built its nest, and that bird sat peacefully over her unhatched eggs. She was safe from predatory enemies; shielded and protected by the roaring falls. Peace does not translate to an absence of problems like a roaring waterfall, but rather to being safe in the midst of those very problems.
