For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of those who love bribes.

During World War II, French industrial multi-millionaire Joseph Joanovici helped the Nazi’s cause by selling precious metals to Hitler. When the Germans occupied Paris, Joanovici used his wealth to bribe many German officers which resulted in his implication in the deaths many of his French countrymen who resisted the German occupation. Eventually, the law caught up with him and the bribery became his downfall. So what’s the moral of the story? You can disregard the principles of the Bible, but you can’t disregard its effects.
