Ephesians 6:18
Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.

The Duke of Wellington asked a young officer standing in a relaxed and slouched position, “Why do you stand in such an improper position?” The young soldier who was slouching while in uniform replied sheepishly, “I’m off duty, sir.” The Duke chided the soldier saying, “A British officer is never off duty. Resume your military position.” We are to do likewise as we are commanded in 1 Peter 5:8 to “Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.” Stay alert. Maintain a strong position. Do not be caught off guard. Be prayerful.
