1 Timothy 2:5
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus.

People have tried since the beginning of time to reach God. Religion after religion were established to satisfy man’s longing for the true Supreme Being. “Religion” is a man’s effort for reaching God. Unless we learn and accept that Jesus is the true and only mediator between God and men, that search will never end. 1 John 5:20 says, “And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we are in God because we are in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.” Jesus is the only mediator between God and men.
