June 12th - Morning | WORTH SAVING
Titus 3:5
He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit.
A minister told a story about a little boy who suddenly felt weak while swimming in a lake. The boy struggled to stay above water and had even gone under twice. A nearby man saw what was happening and saved him. While they were on the shore the rescued boy said, “Thanks for saving my life.” The man replied, “You’re welcome, son. See to it that you are worth saving.” One day the God of the universe came down from heaven’s glory and died on the cross to save us. Was His death worth it? I remember a saying that goes, “What you are is God’s gift to you, what you become is your gift to God.” See to it that you are worth saving.
