June 17th - Morning | POOR TIMING FOR RELATIONSHIPS
2 Timothy 2:22
Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. Follow anything that makes you want to do right. Pursue faith and love and peace, and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.
The greatest detour that the devil has made for today’s youth are relationships built on bad timing. Anything off time is just plain annoying, so there are a lot of quick weddings and teenage pregnancies (which lead to abortions) - the results of poorly-timed relationships. Students should be students and not complicate matters with quick and emotional relationships that they may not be prepared for – just like the Apostle Paul had spoken of when saying that we should run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. You can ignore this very principle, but the consequences are still there to deal with if that principle is violated.
